Popping a cork for the World Cup

KDPO set the dial to dazzle when we were recently invited by the storied producer Champagne Taittinger to help launch their World Cup campaign.

No, they weren’t taking to the field but launching a limited-edition bottle to celebrate this year’s tournament, while also marking their impressive 13-year collaboration with the world’s most watched sporting event.

The special bottle is a sight to behold. An all-black base design is overlaid with luminous holographic elements in red, green and blue to represent the host countries, Canada, Mexico and the US. Its striking visual energy beautifully evokes the intensity and adrenaline of the game, as does its specially designed presentation box. It really is the ultimate accompaniment to the energy and excitement of the FIFA World Cup 2026™.

KDPO joined Taittinger to promote the partnership and unveil the limited edition bottle, and there was no better venue to do it than Sydney’s Restaurant Hubert. We helped stage a spectacular media event, treating industry leaders to a night of live jazz, canapes and an impressive volume of Taittinger.

The sparkling evening attracted representatives from the likes of Vogue, Qantas Magazine, News Corp, Esquire, Harper’s Bazaar, Marie Claire and delicious. For those key media contacts in Sydney and Melbourne who couldn’t make it, we made sure they didn’t miss out on receiving their own bottle, too.
